When you have made a bid and there are no new bids after 48 hours, the hammer will go down and your bid will be successful. Should another member make a bid within 48 hours then the latest bidding member will have 48 hours to hammer down. The 48 hours to hammer down time gives all our members across the World the opportunity to observe the bidding.
